Most people who are interested in building a website tend to cringe at the thought of using one of the HTML editors that are available. This is especially true for those of us who have been online long enough to understand that in the old days, you really needed to understand the language of HTML in order to use a web page editor effectively. Although Dreamweaver tends to be much more expensive than some of the other HTML editors that are available, it gives you a number of different options and it is a very stable program. With that, Dreamweaver is often bundled together with other programs from the Macromedia company.

If I can make one suggestion to you about HTML editors, however, it would be to not fully rely on the fact that they are simple click and build programs. There is a lot to be said for understanding the coding that goes on behind the scenes and when you have a basic knowledge about HTML coding, you can really do some interesting things to your web pages.
